HHH focuses on helping people change their lives one habit at a time by promoting clean eating, consistent exercise, and healthy habits that people can maintain without feeling like they are constantly on a “diet”. It’s all about taking it one step at a time.

Logo for King Kekaulike High School’s Music Program, directed by Mr. Casey Nagata. I combined the school’s colors (black and teal) with icons that represented the Na Ali’i or “Royal Chief” the school was named after. The lower icon is of an ipu, a Hawaiian percussion instrument made from gourds that is often used to provide a beat for hula dancing. Located in Pukalani, Hawaii, King K’s music program encompasses a myriad of courses including Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Pit Orchestra, Polynesian Music and much more.

Logo for Chop Suey, a 19-piece jazz band made up of local musicians, college students, high school students and music educators under the direction of Mr. Casey Nagata. The band was founded in the summer of 2009 and continues to spread their love of jazz to the people of Maui. CSJO has performed at many venues such as Makawao Third Friday, the Shops at Wailea, Whalers Village and Maui Tropical Plantation.

Logo for the local branch of the international Vaginal Fantasy Book Club, hosted by Felicia Day, Veronica Belmont, Kiala Kazebee and Bonnie Burton. This was truly a fun and exciting challenge to create a logo that was completely unapologetic about its female-centric novels. As quoted in the VF wiki, “Felicia Day coined the term ‘vaginal fantasy’ when she first got a Kindle and could purchase “smutty” books without embarrassment. The name of the group was meant to be a tounge-in-cheek nod to the romance genre.” It’s really refreshing and awesome to witness a book club that strives to be trans-inclusive, all welcoming and above all FUN! Thanks to Alyssa Fukumoto for giving me a chance to be a part of this.
